Hill City Hot Rods is a local, family-owned dealership and has been a Virginia dealer since 1987. Since February 2011 we've been on the corner of Route 460 and Sunburst Road at New London, just outside Lynchburg.
We set out to offer a different kind of car-buying experience. We're passionate car folks, and we never wanted to be a high-volume, high-pressure lot. Browse at your own pace, whether you're just looking or ready to buy. We only sell vehicles we like and would own ourselves.

Do you charge a processing fee?
No. Every vehicle is priced with $0 processing fees. You still pay Virginia state taxes and the government title and registration fees.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — we work with Freedom First Federal Credit Union and Westlake, and you can get pre-approved online before you come in.
Will you buy my car if I'm not buying one from you?
Yes. We buy vehicles outright, and a trade isn't required.
Are you a Tesla dealership?
We're an independent dealer that specializes in them, not a Tesla-owned store, so there's no franchise markup and no waiting list. We keep used Model 3s and Model Ys on the lot year-round and can talk you through battery health, range and charging at home.
Do you do commercial deals for small businesses?
Yes. Work vans and pickups are a regular part of what we stock — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping and contractors. Tell us what the job needs and we'll work the deal around your business.
